Trying to Get Pregnant Spotting - When Should You Worry or Be Happy?

Any trying to get pregnant spotting can be good news while some of these can be bad. What`s best to do now is to determine when you should worry about any bleeding or when you should be happy about it.

Understanding Spotting

There are many reasons for getting spotting. It can be a trying to get pregnant spotting or just a normal menstrual spotting.

For now, you should be sure first that what you are experiencing is a real spotting and not anything else. A spotting can be a spotting if it`s just some spots of blood that is lighter than the usual color of menstruation. It should only last for some days and not for a week or two.

Different Possibilities of Spotting

If you are trying to get pregnant, spotting could mean that you are already pregnant. A trying to get pregnant spotting may happen if the fertilized egg is attaching itself to the uterus lining. Many women, about 25%, experience spotting during this period.

However, aside from being good news, this spotting could also mean other things. Here are some possible reasons for having spotting:

- Infection. If you are spotting after an intercourse or after a Pap smear, there is a high possibility that your trying to get pregnant spotting is caused by infection. Vaginal infections like bacterial vaginosis and yeast infection as well as sexually transmitted infections like herpes, Chlamydia, gonorrhea, and trichomoniasis can all cause spotting. These infections irritate or inflame the cervix, which make it prone to spotting after a Pap smear or sexual intercourse.

- Normal pregnancy spotting. In the first three months of pregnancy, expect to experience spotting. Don`t worry, though, because this is so normal that many women experience this, too.

- Placenta Previa. This happens when the placenta was implanted into the uterus`s lower part. This obstructs the cervix and the birth canal, which causes spotting.

- Premature Placenta Separation. This is similar to placenta previa and just like the former, it can also endanger the fetus.

- Bloody Show. Bleeding could mean that your body is preparing for giving birth. The bleeding happens because the mucus plug is dislodged from the cervix. This is normal when it`s near your due date. If it happens too early, it could mean a premature labor.

No one will know what causes your trying to get pregnant spotting unless you consult your doctor. So if you experience spotting, no matter how normal it is, you should call your doctor right away. This is very important especially if you are trying to get pregnant as some bleeding could mean you are not producing healthy eggs for fertilization.

Aside from trying to get pregnant spotting, there are still so many things you need to know especially if you are seriously trying to get pregnant. The book Pregnancy Miracle explains all possible problems that a woman will experience during the period of trying. This also explains problems during pregnancy that might hinder normal delivery and healthiness of your baby. Pregnancy Miracle is a must-have for women with difficulty in getting pregnant.
